When families ask us how we find proposals, they usually mean something more specific: how do you decide that a proposal is worth bringing to us? This article explains the thinking behind that decision.
It starts with understanding you
Every search begins with a conversation. We record your personal details, education and profession, family background and the qualities you are looking for in a partner. Just as important, we take time to understand what you and your family value most: the kind of family life you hope for, your expectations about work and where you will live, and anything that is especially important to you.
For candidates who choose our personalized matchmaking service, a member of our team who knows your file takes the time to understand your background, character and family in more depth.
What we consider
A suitable proposal is one that fits across several areas, not just one or two boxes. Depending on what you have asked us to consider, these can include:
- Values and outlook on family life
- Education and profession
- Family background and expectations
- Lifestyle, and where each person hopes to live
- Horoscope compatibility, only if you and your family wish it
- The preferences the other party has shared with us
That last point matters. A proposal is only suitable if it is suitable for both sides, so we take the other family's expectations into account as carefully as yours.
Reviewed by our team, explained to you
Every proposal we bring to you has been reviewed by our team first. You will not be handed a list to sort through on your own. We explain why a proposal was selected, what we know about the family, and what to expect at the next step.
You decide the pace. Nothing is shared with the other party until you tell us you would like to move forward.
When expectations differ
Sometimes a candidate and their parents are looking for slightly different things. That is normal. Through our family consultation, we can sit down with you together, understand both views and help find common ground before proposals begin.
Honest about time
Some searches move quickly; others need patience, especially where expectations are specific. We would rather introduce the right proposal later than the wrong one sooner, and we keep families informed about how the search is progressing.
